DMS Limited Two Year Parts Warranty
DMS Security warrants that the video surveillance systems it manufactures and products we sell will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of invoice by DMS Security. Cameras and accessories are covered for a period of 2 years or the manufacturers warranty which ever is longer. Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by DMS Security, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventative maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by DMS Security. At DMS Security we stand behind what we sell. We warranty all products against defects in material and workmanship for 2 years. In the event you don't feel the product you purchased will work for your situation then we'll exchange it or issue a store credit. All orders are custom designed for the customer. If you wish to return an item for a refund please be aware that we charge a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstance. We will wait until the merchandise arrives before crediting your account. It is suggested that you insure the package and pack it according to UPS guidelines to prevent damage.

In some instances customers use our surveillance equipment then return it claiming it was defective in attempts to circumvent the restocking fee. Once a product is returned we test it for defects. Most of the time there is absolutely nothing wrong with the surveillance equipment and the restocking fee is not waived. If you are not sure how to operate the surveillance equipment properly please contact us rather than assuming it has malfunctioned. We usually are successful at getting the surveillance equipment to work properly with one simple phone call.
All shipping costs are non-refundable. In all cases you should return any merchandise in it's original packaging. Please call us for a RMA (return merchandise authorization number) If you don't have the original packaging please give us a call. (864) 213-6300
